At the beginning of a race, pop a wheelie to get an early jump on the competition.

ATV Quad Power Racing 2 Hint: Forest Tracks
Hate the water on the Forest tracks? When you get to the jump that takes you through the long part of the river, just as you pass the barn on the right, get to the right bank and ride on the bank. The game will give you the “Return to Track” message as you get close to the logs on the bank close to where you normally would come out of the river. Don’t worry about the game resetting you, just use your pre-load to “bunny-hop” over the logs and voila, you’re back on the track! If you do this each lap you can shave about 15 seconds off of your previous lap times, not to mention smoking the computer AI. Note: Stay close to the water when you get on the bank or the game will reset you. If you go too far up the bank it takes too much time and you get reset. I found this out by riding around in the time trial mode, try it and see what shortcuts you can find.

MVP Baseball 2004 Cheat: Bat Breaking Player
Create a player with the name Erik Kiss (case sensitive). His bat is much thinner than normal, and will break at nearly every at bat.

MVP Baseball 2004 Cheat: Home Run King
Create a player with the name: keegan paterson. (case sensitive) he has an oversized bat that allows you to hit really far homers or really hard line drives everytime He can have horrible stats and still hit home runs every time!

MVP Baseball 2004 Cheat: Big Bat Player
In Create a Player use the first name isaiah paterson, keegan paterson, or jacob paterson. The player will have a huge bat, and get a home run or line drive every time you make contact. These names are case sensitive.

MVP Baseball 2004 Hint: Barry Bonds
Barry Bonds may have been kept out of this game by withdrawing himself from the MLBPA, but his replacement, fantasy player “Jim Dowd”, has all his attributes. Simply go to Roster Management and choose Jim Dowd (he’s easy to find: he’s the best player on the Giants, and one of the best players in the game). Edit the player’s name to “Barry Bonds”, his number to 25 and his hand to lefty. Edit his features to appear less like a random white guy and more like the famous slugger.

MVP Baseball 2004 Hint: Easy MVP Points
When playing a Home Run Showdown or Pitcher Showdown, start the game on the MVP difficulty setting. As soon as the game loads up, pause and change the difficulty to something easier to handle, like Rookie or Pro. Now when you beat the computer you’ll get the MVP points for winning on the MVP level, four times the original amount.

MVP Baseball 2004 Hint: More Easy MVP Points
First, check your MVP Rewards Checklist. Many of the tasks require you to beat certain teams at their home fields. Start a game against any of these teams and choose MVP Difficulty for maximum points. As the game begins, pause the game and switch controller ports to be the team that you’re supposed to beat. If they are batting, simply swing and miss every pitch, and you will get large amounts of points for a Perfect Game, No Hitter, Shutout, and Complete Game. That’s a couple of thousand points right there. When this team is on the field, just lob fastballs over the heart of the plate, or intentionally walk the batters and serve up Grand Slams. You get tons of points for putting up large offensive numbers. Now the most important part. At the end of the game, it is imperative that you switch the controller port back to the original team that you selected in order to receive credit for the final results. Since you need to beat the home team, they will have the last at-bat. So in the last inning, take control of the home team and do the “Swing and Miss” trick. Then on the final strike, swing as soon as the pitcher releases the ball, then quickly pause the game and switch the controllers again. It will be as if you aquired all of the stats for the visiting team, and you will be rewarded heavily for your performance.

MVP Baseball 2004 Hint: Simulate to Earn MVP Points
In Dynasty Mode you recieve MVP points periodically for accomplishments. Assemble a team you feel is good enough to simulate to the playoffs (hint: Yankees). Simulate the season up to the second to last game and then save the game. Once you have it saved, simulate the last game and move into the playoffs. Generally, you recieve anywhere between 5000-9000 MVP points for making the playoffs. Save the points onto your profile when prompted, and then exit the Dynasty mode without saving. Repeat the process and you’ll notice that every time you simulate into the playoffs you’re saving the points and not your progress. Do this about 20-25 times and you’ll have enough points for all the rewards.

MVP Baseball 2004 Hint: Ultimate Method of Earning MVP Points
Start a new dynasty with the YANKEES. In the DYNASTY SETTINGS page right after you chose to start a new dynasty and even before you choose which team, choose NO for a fantasty draft, put the difficulty level on MVP, turn injuries off, turn suspensions off, turn errors off, turn the trade deadline OFF, turn CPU initiated trades OFF, turn rained out games OFF, and leave everything else as the default. Also, you need to make sure you have the user profile set as PROF1 or if you have your own profile use that one and set it as that in the dynasty options page.

Once you’re on the main page of the dynasty, go to SCHEDULE. Scroll all the way through the calender to the last game of the season, since we are using the Yankees for the dynasty, the last game of the regular season on the calender should be on October 3rd, so scroll to October 3rd and choose “Sim up to and including this day.” It will take a couple minutes to sim through the entire regular season because the baseball schedule is long and it also has to sim through your two minor league teams associated with the franchise. Throughout the sim, various messages will pop up about the allstar game, minor league playoffs, etc. When these messages pop up, just ignore them and choose “Continue Sim.”

Once the sim finishes, go back to the main dynasty page and there will be a couple of boxes that popup saying congratulations you’ve received 1000 or so MVP points, just click OK and ignore them, because that’s not where the bigtime MVP points are. Go to “Advance to next day” and keep pressing continue until you’re back at the main dynasty management page and a box pops up saying that the regular season is over.

Right now, save your dynasty and once you’re finished saving it go to “Advance To Playoffs”, you MUST make sure you save your dynasty at this point BEFORE you choose to advance to the playoffs. After you click on “advance to playoffs,” a box will pop up saying “Congratulations, you have completed one or more tasks and have been awarded XXXXX MVP points.” The amount of MVP points varies, however you are guaranteed to receive anywhere between at least 15,000 and 20,000 MVP points. Click on OK after that box comes up and press CIRCLE on your PS2 controller which brings up your profile options. When you bring up your profile options go to “Save Profile” and save your profile, it will ask if you want to overwrite previous data and choose YES.

There you go, you’ve just gotten roughly 20,000 MVP points. Do NOT save your dynasty, the only time you should have ever saved this dynasty was after you finished simming the regular season before you clicked on “advance to playoffs”. At this point, just exit the dynasty and a message will pop up saying “are you sure you want to exit, you will lose all of your MVP points and unsaved changes”, ignore this message and choose YES. You will not lose your MVP points because you have already saved your profile! You’ll now be back at the main menu of MVP Baseball 2004. Just go back to game modes, then go to dynasty mode and load the dynasty.

Once you load the dynasty, just click on “Advance to playoffs” and you’ll receive another 20,000 MVP points. Just save your profile and exit the dynasty, then just load it back up again, click on advnace to playoffs again, save your profile again, and exit. You can do this as much as many times as you want, then just go to “My MVP” on the main menu MVP Baseball 2004 and go into “MVP REWARDS” and unlock EVERYTHING.

MVP Baseball 2004 Hint: MVP Point Limit
You can only hold 50,000 MVP points at a time. Once you reach that amount, spend them. Otherwise, any points you earn afterwards will not be given to you because you’re full.

Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse PS2 Cheats

Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse Tip: Find Special Items
There are three special types of items that are found almost exclusively in their respective dungeons. These items are useful for trade, fulfilling donation quests or for purchasing certain kinds of weapons.

Power Gems can be found in the Lost City.
Ooze can be found in the Ancient Forest.
Necrystal can be found in the Necropolis.

Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse Use Armor Wisely
Avoid wearing metal armor against enemies that have good electrical attacks (Undead). Instead, get a higher-level Leather armor to protect yourself. Don’t even dream of going to the lower regions of the Necropolis wearing metallic armor (Plate or Chain).

Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse Tip: Bonus Dungeon Treasure
Every tenth level of a dungeon contains extra treasure. Make sure you search every corner of the dungeon for the rooms that contain lots of bonus chests. Inside, you will find tons of top-dollar gear, including lots of armor and high level weapons.

Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse Hint: Shop with your Sword!
A quick way to gain exp/items/gold is to make an side trip to Tanglewood, The Badlands, or The Frozen Wastes. Each location has a portal producing endless streams of Monsters, most with loot. The trick is to equip for the trip: “Seer” for experience, “Ivory” for items, “Greedy” for gold. Just follow the stream of monsters to the portal. When you’ve had enough, smash the portal to aid the nearby villages. Don’t worry it regenerates so you can go “Shopping with your Sword” again!

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest PS2 Cheats

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Cheat: Duel Wield
This works for the elf and the barbarian. At the beginning when you are giving a name to your character hold: L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3 + TRIANGLE and press done.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Class Hints and Descriptions
If you’re just getting into your new EverQuest journey, here are some tips to keep in mind concerning the five character classes.

* Barbarian: Barbarians are the tanks of Norrath, and excel at melee combat, specializing in weapons and armor. Unfortunately, barbarians do not recover mana automatically - they need to slay enemies to recover mana which may put you in a bind when you need mana for an ability but your health is low. Develop the Smash, Dual Wield, and Bind Wound abilities while searching for good (light) armour and accesories that give armour, health, and health regeneration. Nab two good weapons (twin Iceflames for Level 13 warriors are a good start) and combine them with the Mist Globe enchantment item (which increases attack speed). Then watch that blood fly!

* Ranger: Relying on their bow skills, rangers specialize in long range attacks and mana usage. They also have some spell casting abilities, but are more focused on their archery. This advantage may be a disadvantage later in the campaign, where stronger monsters tend to block arrows thus taking no damage. Those arrows aren’t cheap either, and they’re heavy to lug around as well. Develop towards the Explosive Arrow skill and some Carrying Capacity (about 200.0 weight units for the arrows and armour) to give your Ranger some real punch against later enemies.

* Wizard: Wizards are very dependent on mana, and it shows in their attacks. Based on the elements, their magic attacks are to be used to keep them out of harm’s way, as wizards are vulnerable in close combat. When a wizard has mana, he or she can blast everything in the way. However, just like the Ranger, this class depends on Mana potions to survive heavy combat, and those potions get heavy to lug around. Some stronger monsters also have magic resistance, which mean they take less damage from a magic-users’ spells. Pour your skills into the spells but don’t neglect the Blunt Weapon damage skill. Increase it every three levels to keep up with the enemies you’ll be facing later on.

* Cleric: If used correctly, clerics can offer support by way of healing spells. And while they do not excel at combat, they still possess limited weapon use - blunt weapons only. This is not a severe handicap since it allows clerics to focus their skiil points in other areas (notably the healing spell and other defensive and offensive spells). Develop your initial energy blast and Blunt Weapon damage. Go heavy with Intelligence (recover mana faster) and skimp on Dexterity unless you plan on throwing those grenade potions (Gas Potion, Explosive Potion, etc). The cleric is a support player, and depending on who you play with you should develop your Healing spell (warriors and shadow knights, cleric hangs back) or your Magic Hammer and Holy Armour (wizards and rangers, clerics fight up front).

* Shadow Knight: Using a range of evil spells, this class can attack with poison, and summon monsters to help in the attack. They can also use melee attacks, though not nearly as effectively as barbarians. Shadow knights can be played as “weak barbarians”. Once you find some good armour and weapons, they can wreak just as much havoc as a warrior. Their spells make them much more suited to combat than the cleric but the ability to choose between blunted and bladed weapons tend to make players diffuse their skill points making their shadow knight less effective in the long run. Focus on one class of weapon and stay with it (bladed weapon skill is usually better, but not always). Focus the skill tree towards Harm Touch, which is simply devastating.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Massive Experience
This exploit requires at least two save files (1800+ KB on one card) or for safety reasons, two memory cards with at least 900 KB free (you can take out one card and force save/force load your game from the other card). Again, this exploit is for the Normal (non-Internet) Campaign only.

When you arrive in the final act (Act V: Plane of Air and Plane of Hate), you are tasked to secure lost souls to free Fironia to help you battle Innoruk. Once you free Fironia, you cannot enter the Halls of Despair any more, so create a save game before you rescue Fironia and you can return there any time (import your characters into the campaign) and you can keep earning experience and damn cool equipment. Note that the Halls of Despair prohibits Gate Scrolls from being used, so prepare to fight well to keep your items.

Consequently, once you rescue Fironia, you can use two cards to save your progress after battling Innoruk for massive experience. After rescuing Fironia, she tells you to locate Planar Steel to fight Innoruk. Once you locate Planar Steel, you warp into Innoruk’s chamber, so make a save before you do anything stupid.

Yank out the card after you save and stick in another card with free space for a Norrath save game. Pick up all the gear you want to carry with you into the next game (weapons or armor you can’t equip yet but would like to keep) and locate the Planar Steel (it is not hard to do since the Plane of Air is rather small and has no enemies). Go fight Innoruk, make him barf out some good items (pick them up as well) and save your completed campaign on the second card.
You can now load the campaign from the first card (before you found the Planar Steel) and import the characters from your completed campaign to make Innoruk pave your way to higher experience levels. As a bonus, you can also sell the extra gear you find. Just remember to save before searching for Planar Steel on card #1, pulling it out and using card #2 to save the results of the battle after Innoruk.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Reach High Level Instantly
First of all, you’re going to need a strong character to begin with. You have to reach the cloud boss on the Champion difficulty. Then, take you’re high level character and start attacking the cloud giant until he has a sliver of health left (don’t kill him or this trick won’t work). Run back to the save point and save your game.

Now plug in your second controller and create a new character by pressing R1 in the empy P2 slot. Create you’re character and then import him into the game with the nearly-dead boss. Next, save you new character on a separate file and take you’re first player controller and get rid of first player so you’re left with just your level 1 character. Go to town and buy some fire potions and save again. After you saved, it’s time for you to head over to the cloud boss–you should be able to kill him with 1 or 2 fire potions. After he dies you should notice that your character has instantly reached a high level.

Note: This will only work on single player mode.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Quick attacks
With a one-handed weapon equipped press the block and attack button simultaneously to do a quick strike.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest Hint: Item and Money Duplication
This is a common exploit for multi-character action RPGs. You need at least one memory card and two analog controllers for this trick to work (more advanced version for Norrath require more cards, more controllers, and the PS2 multitap) and is only valid for the Normal (non-Internet) Campaign.

The basic premise is that you can import your own character, then dump the clone’s equipment on the ground so your original character can snatch them up and sell (or use) them. The game tends to delete items if they are left on the ground, so it’s best for any items you intend to transfer be on the original character before you add or delete a cloned character.

Warriors and Rangers, because of their dual weapon ability, tend to get stuck with one good weapon and one bad one (if you’re lucky). You can use this trick to quickly duplicate a good weapon (the Iceflame for example) and have two great weapons for dual wield!

Another instance where this exploit is helpful is when you find a miscellaneous armor/weapon enchantment item (the items that give small bonuses to weapons and armour when combined with them). Before you use the item, go and save your game! You can quickly duplicate the enchantment item and either experiment with them, or you can have a “back-up” item as you upgrade your equipment later in the game.

Alternative method (Single Card): To duplicate your items, all you need to do is this: save your game; after saving drop whatever weapons or items you want to have more of; import the character you just saved and pick up the items you dropped. You will then have a character with twice of everything you dropped. This is very nice if you pick up something cool (a sword with 3 open upgrade spots or an item like “fresh ghoul flesh”) so you can (1) try many different weapon upgrade combinations to find the best one without losing the unaltered version or, (2) build a large stockpile of upgrade items so you can apply them to everything you buy.

I am constantly replacing my armor with better stuff so I do this to always have a good amount of items to upgrade them with. This will also work if you want to take one saved characters stuff and give it to a new one. Save the new character, import the old character in his place, drop the goodies, import the new character and pick them up.
